We have received a shipment of pressed soybeans and Gojiru soup from Okada Agricultural Products in Kunitomi-cho, Higashimorokata-gun, Miyazaki Prefecture.

Add the "Go-jiru no Moto" (a type of miso soup base) dissolved in water (appropriate amount) to your usual miso soup before adding the miso, and bring to a boil over low heat.

Once it starts to boil, add the miso paste, and once it boils again, your delicious miso soup (gojiru) is ready.

It cooks in 2-3 minutes. A quick rinse and it's ready to use. It has the texture of edamame. It can be used in a variety of dishes, including miso soup, mixed rice dishes, stews, and more.
