The fat, rich in oleic acid, has a melting point of 30.9°C, making it melt easily in the mouth. It lightly envelops the sweet meat, and has very little of the bitterness that can cause off-flavors, so the deliciousness lasts a long time.

Furthermore, the "Tsuki no Shio" salt, produced by "Michi-no-Eki Kitaura," a member of the "Nobeoka Roadside Station" group, enhances the flavor.
