"Torahiko Sentoku Sake Manju" is on sale now at Kitagawa Hayuma Souvenir Shop and three roadside stations in Nobeoka! [Saturday, February 14, 2026]
"Torahiko Sentoku Sake Manju" is currently on sale at the Kitagawa Hayuma Roadside Station's souvenir shop. (Limited quantity, limited time offer [On sale until February 15th, 2026 (Sunday)])
Sentoku is the only sake brewery in Nobeoka City. (Nobeoka City has three alcoholic beverage manufacturers in total: sake brewery, shochu brewery "Sato Shochu," and beer brewery "Hideji Beer.")
To commemorate the open house of Sentoku Sake Brewery, which will be held this weekend (February 14th (Sat) - 15th (Sun)), the confectionery shop "Kaze no Kashi Torahiko" in Nobeoka City will be producing "Sentoku Sake Manju" for a limited time and in limited quantities, just once a year.
This is a "sake manju" (steamed bun filled with sweet bean paste) made using only sake lees and sake, without a single drop of water.
The smooth red bean paste and the fluffy, sake-flavored dough are simply superb.
*The alcohol evaporates during the steaming process, leaving only the flavor.
It is currently on sale at three roadside stations in Nobeoka City (Michi-no-Eki Kitagawa Hayuma, Michi-no-Eki Kitaura, and Michi-no-Eki Kitakata Yochimiroya).
Also, "Sentoku Pudding," produced by "Bakery Harada," is made using the same sake from Sentoku and is sold in limited quantities and for a limited time only.
Please consider purchasing this as well.
