"Okinawa-grown apple bananas" are back on sale at two roadside stations in Nobeoka (Roadside Station Kitagawa Hayuma and Roadside Station Kitakata Yochimiroya).

*Okinawa Apple Bananas: These are rare apple bananas grown in Okinawa Prefecture. They are characterized by being thicker, shorter, and more stout than the bananas you usually see. When ripened until they turn black, they have a sticky texture and a strong sweetness.
