Notice Regarding the Closure of the Second Parking Lot at "Michi-no-Eki Kitagawa Hayuma" (March 15th (Fri) afternoon to March 16th (Sat) morning, 2024)

Due to the "1st Tour de Nippo" cycling event, the second parking lot will be closed from the afternoon of Friday, March 15th to the morning of Saturday, March 16th, 2024.

There is ample parking space in the first parking lot, so we anticipate minimal impact on our customers.

The five cities and one town of Usuki, Tsukumi, and Saiki in Oita Prefecture, and Nobeoka, Kadogawa, and Hyuga in Miyazaki Prefecture, have taken the lead in establishing the Nichinan Coast Cycle Tourism Promotion Council. The aim of this council is to designate roads and other routes that pass through the scenic Nichinan Coast region as cycling paths and to increase the number of cycling enthusiasts and tourists, improve convenience, and create a lively atmosphere through interaction with the local community, all through various measures.

To mark the establishment of this council, the "1st Tour de Nippo 2024" will be held on Saturday, March 16th. This event is a slow-paced cycling event that allows participants to enjoy the deeper atmosphere of the Nippo coast region, including the natural scenery of the sea, mountains, and rivers, as well as the unique sights and smells that the towns and industries of the region are proud of.

The cyclists will start and finish at Saiki City General Sports Park, running through Saiki City and Nobeoka City. We ask for your understanding, cooperation, and warm support.
