A full lineup of tropical fruits from Miyazaki Prefecture (atemoya, papaya, dragon fruit, star fruit)!!

We have received a shipment of rare Miyazaki Prefecture-grown "atemoya." While we have sold Okinawa Prefecture-grown atemoya at our station, this is our first time receiving Miyazaki Prefecture-grown atemoya.

In addition, we have a full lineup of tropical fruits unique to Miyazaki, such as papaya, dragon fruit, and star fruit.

The white flesh is very sweet with a slight tartness, and its soft, custard-like texture has earned it the nickname "custard apple." Like the cherimoya, it's sometimes described as "ice cream of the forest," and because its flavor is somewhat similar to pineapple, it's also called "pineapple shakatou."
