Let's go to the Kitagawa Hayuma area this Obon holiday!!

The "Michi-no-Eki Kitagawa Hayuma Obon Fair" will be held for nine days from today (Saturday, August 9th, 2025) to Sunday, August 17th!

We sell items such as Hanashiba (Shikimi, commonly used in Buddhism), Kamishiba (Sakaki, commonly used in Shinto), chrysanthemums, offerings (sweets, fruits), torches, and Chinese lanterns.

*We sell Obon-related products such as shikimi (Japanese star anise), chrysanthemums, offerings, and torches.

*Sales of Miyazaki-grown fruits. Mangoes, grapes (Fujiminori, Shine Muscat, Kyoho, Sunny Rouge, Black Beat, etc. planned), greenhouse mandarins, Hebesu citrus, passion fruit, etc. planned.

August 9th (Sat) - 17th (Sun) Kitagawa Hayuma Marche

Salt-grilled sweetfish, charcoal-grilled chicken, shaved ice, grilled mackerel sushi, chicken wing gyoza, and more will be available at the stalls, with the offerings changing daily.

Stamp rallies are currently being held at three roadside stations in Nobeoka (Kitagawa Hayuma, Kitaura, and Kitakata Yochimiroya)!
