Announcement of additional events taking place tomorrow

Chef Shimizu of Kitagawa Hayuma Restaurant at this station will be creating watermelon carvings as follows.

Saturday, July 12, 2025, 10:00 AM - approximately 4 hours

Content: Chef Shimizu will carve flowers into watermelons. The finished products will be displayed in the restaurant. In July, "Michi-no-Eki Kitagawa Hayuma" will celebrate its second anniversary since its reopening.

July 12th (Sat) - 13th (Sun) Peach Fair, co-hosted by Michi-no-Eki Ukiha (Fukuoka Prefecture) & Kiyokawa (Oita Prefecture)
We plan to sell peaches from Miyazaki, Oita, and Fukuoka prefectures.

Takeout Corner: Homemade Miyazaki Mango Sherbet - 500 yen (Limited Quantity)
This commemorative product features handcrafted sherbet made from Miyazaki Prefecture mangoes. It offers a premium taste, just like eating a fresh mango.

July 18th (Fri) - 19th (Sat) Doyo-no-Ushi no Hi Fair
During this period, we will deliver unaju (eel rice bowl) and grilled eel to your workplace or other locations (there are restrictions on the delivery area and minimum order quantity. Please contact us for details.)

July 19th (Sat) - 20th (Sun) Curry Bread Fair
A bread fair is held on the third Sunday of every month. The theme of the breads featured changes each month.

July 19th (Sat) - 21st (Mon) Restaurant "Shrimp Fair"
Calling all shrimp lovers!! Three days of amazing shrimp dishes including fried shrimp set meals, fried shrimp curry, shrimp tempura rice bowls, shrimp tempura udon, and more.

*The "National Sports Festival/Paris Para Sports Festival PR Caravan (Miyazaki Dog)" which was scheduled for July 26th (Sat) - 27th (Sun) has been postponed.
