Hyuga City's specialty "hebesu" has arrived!! (Friday, June 6, 2025)

The first shipment of "hebesu," a specialty product from Hyuga City, Miyazaki Prefecture, has arrived.

"Hebesu" is a citrus fruit that was discovered and cultivated in the mountains of what is now Hyuga City during the late Edo period by Heibei Chosokabe, who then spread it throughout the region. It is named after Heibei. It is a citrus fruit that is characterized by having almost no seeds, a thin peel that is easy to squeeze, a mild taste, and plenty of juice.
