Peaches from Kitagata-cho, Nobeoka City have arrived.

Early-ripening peaches from Kitagata-cho, Nobeoka City have arrived.

We now have early-ripening varieties "Chiyohime" and "Sakuhime" in stock.

The following is quoted from the National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO) website.

☆ "Chiyohime": It has plenty of juice, a sugar content of 11-121 TP3T, and low acidity. It is excellent in both appearance and taste for a peach of this season.

☆ "Sakuhime": The flesh is white. The sugar content is around 12-13%, similar to "Hikawa Hakuhou," and the acidity is low at around pH 4.6, resulting in a good taste.

From June 8th (Sat) to 9th (Sun), the "Peach Festival" will be held at "Michi-no-Eki Kitakata Yochimiroya," and from June 15th (Sat) to 16th (Sun), the "Peach Fair" will be held at "Michi-no-Eki Kitagawa Hayuma."
