Freshly grown shiitake mushrooms and dried shiitake mushrooms from Nobeoka are available for sale.

Made with generously used shiitake mushrooms grown on logs in Nobeoka. Nobeoka local dish "Happai-jiru"

"Nobeoka Hachihai-jiru" (Eight Bowls Soup): Origin of the name: "It's so delicious you'll eat eight bowls of it!"

"Nobeoka Hachihaijiru Association" co-sponsored "Hachihaijiru" tasting event
