Regarding the temporary closure of the "Bread and Confectionery Manufacturing Department" due to the implementation of the second phase of renovation work (scheduled from mid-February to mid-March 2023)
Due to the second phase of renovation work at Michi-no-Eki Kitagawa Hayuma, the "Bread and Confectionery Manufacturing Department" will be closed from mid-February to mid-March 2023. During this period, we have requested that local bakeries and other businesses exhibit their products, but quantities are limited.
Furthermore, we anticipate that confectionery products such as "Nobegaku Pudding" will sell out during the first half of the period.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Phase 2 renovation work is planned (scheduled construction period: February to April 2023).
*The terrace in front of the store has been renovated (there will be restrictions on the entrance and the area accessible to the public. Some shops and vending machines will be relocated or temporarily closed. The rest area will be closed.)
* A windbreak will be installed at the entrance of the souvenir shop (this will restrict access to the entrance and the area where people can pass through).
* Renovation of the bakery and confectionery workshop (there will be a period during which we will not be exhibiting)
* New preparation and pickle processing room established (the impact on customers will be minimal)
* Shop air conditioner replacement (the impact on customers will be minimal)
* A canopy has been installed in the backyard (this will have minimal impact on customers).
