Today (Sunday, February 20th, 2022) is our monthly "Bread Fair" & "Soft Serve Ice Cream Fair"!!

This week's theme is "Don't let the cold get the better of you!!"

At our soft-serve ice cream fair, we're selling four different flavors of "roasted sweet potato," a classic Japanese winter treat!

Choose your favorite flavor from all four varieties.

Silk Sweet, Beni Haruka, Miyazaki Beni, Kanta-kun

My recommendation is to sprinkle "Tsuki no Shio" (moon salt) on "Miyazaki Beni" rice – it's delicious!!

*Miyazaki Beni

A light and refreshing type of sweet potato. Sugar content: 13-30 degrees. A brand-name sweet potato from Miyazaki Prefecture. Characterized by its fluffy texture. Because it's light in flavor, it tastes great even with a sprinkle of salt. This time, we're offering a free topping of "Moon Salt" to customers who request it!

*Silk Sweet

A moist type of ice cream. Sugar content of approximately 8.8 degrees. Characterized by its elegant sweetness and silky texture.

*Beni Haruka

A sticky texture. Sugar content of approximately 40-60 degrees. Sweetness is its most distinctive feature. It is moist but retains the traditional fluffy texture, resulting in a pleasant aftertaste.

*Kanta-kun

A sticky, creamy sweet potato. A brand-name sweet potato from Oita Prefecture. It's made by storing "Beni Haruka" sweet potatoes for a long period of time, which converts the starch into sugar, increasing the sugar content by 1.5 times.

A soft-serve ice cream collaboration of roasted sweet potato and chestnut: "Roasted Sweet Potato Sundae 350 yen" (Chestnut soft-serve + roasted sweet potato (Kanta-kun) + brown sugar syrup)

*We also sell small baked sweet potatoes called "Your Love Will Come True! Little Sweet Potato."
